Log In and Out of CalWIN Inquiry Only Web

Procedure Overview

Logging in to CalWIN Web Application is the first step to using the CalWIN Web Application. When you log in with your User ID and password, CalWIN Web Application recognizes that you are a registered CalWIN  user and provides you with access to the system. Once you have completed your tasks, you log out of CalWIN Web Application to end the session.

TIP: If you close your Web browser without logging out of the CalWIN Inquiry Only Web, you will not be able to access the application until it has been timed out.

To Log In and Out of CalWIN Inquiry Only Web

Log In to CalWIN Inquiry Only Web

  1. Enter the CalWIN Inquiry Only Web address defined by the County in the Address bar of your Web browser. The CalWIN Web Login page appears.

  2. Enter User ID and Password.

  3. Click [OK]. The Security Statement page appears.

  4. Click [OK]. The CalWIN Inquiry Only Web application opens and the Welcome to CalWIN page appears.

TIP: If you type in your user name and password and you are unable to login, check that you entered the correct information. After three failed login attempts, you will be locked out of the system.

NOTE: If this is your first time logging in to CalWIN, the system will prompt you to replace your default password with a new password.

The Log In to CalWIN Inquiry Only Web  procedure is complete.

Log Out of CalWIN Inquiry Only Web

  1. Select Logoff from the menu options. The CalWIN Web Login page appears.

 

The Log Out of CalWIN Inquiry Only Web procedure is complete.
